Help & FAQ

 Can I use expired medications?
Solution No, we do not recommend that you ever use an expired medication. Most medications will lose potency and simply not work very well once they are expired, but others may change chemically over time and after the expiry date, they may become toxic. The expiry dates listed on products are tested by manufacturers to ensure that products will still be safe and effective if used before the date specified, so we recommend that you dispose of medications once they are past their expiry date.

If a product does not contain an expiry date, then it has been determined by the relevant authority for assessing the medication that this does not change or degrade significantly over time and it may be safely and effectively used for an indefinite period.
